Roadscanners develops software for GPR-based geophysical surveys under brand name Geo Doctor

Geo Doctor is based on the same system of operations, which makes it easy to move to a more complete program version through upgrading: an upgrade version can always read data created with a lower-level program version.

Road Doctor ®

A comprehensive tool kit, which covers
  • linking and presentation of diverse data
  • GPR data processing and interpretation tools
  • analysis using integrated project data displays
  • planning rehabilitation measures for a survey section and calculating their cost

Data attachable to Road Doctor projects includes:

  • GPR data (in GSSI, MALA, Sensors & Software, or any 8 and 16-bit data format)
  • Reference data (e.g. layer depths from drill core results)
  • Road profilometer data (IRI, rutting indicators)
  • Falling Weight Deflectometer data (Dynatest, KUAB)
  • Databases (MS Access, Paradox, MySQL etc.)
  • Digital video, maps and images
  • Any files readable using the workstation’s other programs (e.g. .doc, .xls, .pdf, .htm files)

Road Doctor™ for Windows and Road Doctor™ Designer include a link to Dynatest Elmod® software for FWD/HWD data analysis and layer moduli calculations.

Road Doctor ® Designer

A trimmed down version of Road Doctor™ that provides tools for road condition analysis and planning rehabilitation measures.

Road Doctor™ Designer allows linking of diverse object data as in Road Doctor™ for Windows, but does not feature GPR data processing and interpretation tools.

Road Doctor™ Designer includes a link to Dynatest Elmod® software for FWD/HWD data analysis and layer moduli calculations.

Road Doctor ® Cam Link

Road Doctor™ Cam Link creates position files, using GPS coordinates, as GPR and video data is being collected. These position files, which are readable by the Road Doctor™, Geo Doctor™, and Haescan for Windows programs, can be linked to the data to provide accurate positioning based on GPS information.

Additionally, Road Doctor™ Cam Link saves recorded video data as digital DV format files.

Road Doctor ® Viewer

There are three different versions of the Road Doctor™ Viewer program, each of which enables viewing of user-defined presentations of datasets and analyses created with Road Doctor™ for Windows or Road Doctor™ Designer:

  • Road Doctor™ Viewer
  • Road Doctor™ Viewer Advanced, which additionally features on-screen GPR data processing, and allows output of views to a printer or Bitmap files

Road Doctor™ for Windows, Road Doctor™ Designer, and Road Doctor™ Viewer Designer include a link to Dynatest Elmod® software for FWD/HWD data analysis and layer moduli calculations.

With the Viewer program versions, new datasets cannot be attached to projects.



Geo Doctor ®

Provides software tools for

  • pocessing and interpreting GPR data from ground coupled antennas
  • linking and presenting GPR data with other project data, such as reference measurements, maps, digital images or video, etc.
  • nalysing survey results with the help of integrated views of selected project data
