| Railway Doctor® is a “all in one” software for the integrated analysis of standard railway survey datasets. | ||
The General Features - Linking railway survey data - GPR data processing and interpretation - Synchronised presentation of results - Analysis tools - GIS presentation of any survey & analysis data - Rehabilitation design |
||
Railway Doctor® Data View, displaying selected data from a project: video, map, GPR data with interpretations and core sample information. All data and picture windows can be viewed and scrolled with linear synchronization.
Input Data
Data attachable to Railway Doctor projects includes:
· GPR data (GSSI, 3-D Radar, MALÅ, Sensors & Software, IDS, or any 8 and 16-bit data format)
· Reference data (e.g. layer depths from drill core results)
· Railway databases
· Geometry information
· Databases (MS Access, Paradox, MySQL etc.)
· Digital video, photos, maps and images
· Any files readable using the workstation’s other programs (e.g. .doc, .xls, .pdf, .htm files)
GPR Data Processing
Railway Doctor® includes advanced processing (such as background removal, scale normalization, and semi-automatic layer interface tracing), interpretation (ballast, subballast layer thicknesses) and presentation features for GPR data measured with any of the most common commercial GPR systems. 3D display and interpretation options are available in 3D module which will be released in 2007.
Analyses and Presentation of Results
Interpreted measurements can be further
developed with Railway Doctor® Analysis Tools to produce
· Overviews of railway network condition
· Analyses of the reasons for distress in each problem section
· Presentations of suggested repair measures and their estimated costs
Data views can be output as Bitmap image files, or to a printer. Interpretations and analysis data can be output as text files in formats allowing data transfer e.g. to GIS analysis programs.
Railway Doctor® is available in English, French, Spanish,
Swedish, German and Finnish language versions.
