Bridge Surveys

Roadscanners has been doing extensive research and development work in order to develop new NDT techniques and their data analysis in order to better map the condition of bridge decks. This work has been done mainly in Finland, Sweden and in USA. Earlier, bridge deck diagnostics was done mainly based on GPR data analysis but in recent years thermal cameras and laser scanning techniques have also been successfully used in these surveys.

Currently Roadscanners bridge deck condition survey package consists of:

3D GPR, thermal camera and laser scanning measurements and digital videos
Interpretation and analysis of the collected data
Results delivered as deterioration maps (GPR data), surface maps (Thermal data), Laser emission maps (Laser scanning data) and a report, where all results are discussed and analyzed.
