Special Projects

Roadscanners consultancy services has also done numerous special projects where the customer has had a very specific and challenge with transportation problems and/or with the quality of specified structures.  In these projects Roadscanners designs a specific data collection and analysis system for each problem and customizes its software packages to ensure the best possible results for each case.

Good examples of such projects are detecting damages in asphalt covered dikes in the Netherlands for Deltares or making a risk analysis and strengthening design for specific  roads leading to windmill power plants in Scotland, where the heaviest windmill components can weigh up to 160 tons. Roadscanners consultants have also done projects related to geotechnical problems such us settlements or water leakages.  Special tasks in concrete roads have also been to measure the position of dowel bars and location of voids in concrete road joints.
