Roadscanners develops new road, bridge and airport maintenance models based on the latest research. Transportation networks have to be accessible year-round, and expertise related to seasonal changes in the Arctic areas is one of the key aspects in the development and testing of Roadscanners’ products. With the new maintenance methods, it is possible to focus measures precisely on the weakest road sections. In addition, repair work will eliminate the source of the problems, not only the symptoms. Roadscanners’ new road survey techniques and innovations allow maintenance policies to be changed from reactive towards proactive maintenance. Regarding lifetime costs, the rehabilitated structure will be considerably more economical than before. Roadscanners key expertise has been the development of the use of  non-destructive methods, such as ground penetrating radar (GPR), laser scanner, accelerometer, HD and thermal camera linked together with GPS, in the monitoring and diagnostics of roads, streets, bridges, and airports.
