Roadscanners’ Road Doctor Survey Van gathers a large amount of data in a single drive: Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Laser Scanning (LS), Accelerometer (ACC), and video data with GPS coordinates. This provides versatile opportunities to combine sub-surface layer thicknesses with road surface and surroundings. With a vast amount of data collected, it can be categorized in various ways. Naturally, all our services packages can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Roadscanners’ structural package

A service package for determining the thickness of road or street pavement layers. The data  intrepetation includes:

  • Thicknesses of pavement layers
  • Location of steel reinforcement
  • Interpretation of bedrock surface, down to 1,5 m
  • Possible inclusion of results from pavement layer drilling in the project and use them as reference for interpretation
  • The result includes:
    • Longitudinal profiles in PDF format
    • Excel tables containing:
        • Average depth of each layer interface as desired
        • X- and Y-coordinates
